ABOUT SKINVIVE

Skinvive is a one-of-a-kind hyaluronic acid microdroplet injectable. Skinvive helps the skin retain its natural moisture and softness, leading to an improvement in the smoothness of the skin. In other words, Skinvive is essentially a skin booster.

While skin boosters have been available and also quite popular in other countries such as Europe, Skinvive is the first skin booster available in the United States that has been approved by the FDA. Skinvive is injected as microdroplets along the cheeks to create a lasting glow (up to six months in fact).

Unlike other hyaluronic acid fillers, Skinvive does not add volume or contour, rather stimulates hydration and collagen to glow from within! It’s the perfect treatment for someone who struggles with dry or dehydrated skin, and is looking to refresh their appearance without feeling “filled”.

THE BENEFITS OF SKINVIVE

Skinvive works to increase the expression of aquaporin, a hydration marker that facilitates the flow of water into and out of cells. It is designed to increase hydration to improve skin smoothness and provide a lasting glow. Skinvive is injected very superficially beneath the skin creating clean controlled injuries to the skin, which helps to increase collagen production. WHO IS A GOOD CANDIDATE FOR SKINVIVE?

Almost everyone! Skinvive is ideal for anyone looking to increase their natural glow from hydration within. Those who are pregnant or breastfeeding, or struggle with active breakouts or rashes would not be considered a good candidate for Skinvive. But for those who are looking to improve hydration, fine lines and wrinkles, skin laxity and collagen loss would be a great fit for Skinvive.

What to expect during treatment

This treatment starts with a pre-cleanse by our aesthetic team to cleanse and refresh the skin, followed by a numbing cream (if you choose) to ensure zero pain throughout your treatment. Skinvive is very similar to Botox in terms of needle size and pain level, so numbing cream is not essential for this treatment. We will also provide you with vibrator for distraction or a squeeze ball to provide comfort and relaxation. A series of injections are made in the cheeks using tiny needles. A series of injections will be administered to the cheek area using tiny needles. The product will be injected superficially into the epidermis, using a microdroplet technique that delivers on average about 20 injections per cheek at a time. This treatment takes no longer than 30 minutes and has no downtime, so you are free to go about your normal day after treatment!

SKINVIVE RESULTS

Skinvive is clinically proven to provide more visibly radiant skin within just four weeks after treatment, but many will notice visible results within days after their treatment. Results from Skinvive can last up to six months long.
