We are thrilled to share with you more about our newest addition to the team – licensed aesthetician, Casey. Casey is treating patients at our Pewaukee location. Casey specializes in chemical peels, HydraFacial, SkinPen, laser hair removal and BBL.
We were able to interview Casey and get to learn more about her passions in the skincare industry and medspa and her personal hobbies!
Q: Can You Share with Us a Brief Introduction About Yourself, Your Background, and Education?
My name is Casey Klauck, and I am a Licensed Aesthetician in both Wisconsin and Illinois. While I’m originally from Wisconsin, I attended esthetics school at Estelle Skin Care & Spa Institute in Skokie, IL. I chose that school because I loved that their program featured a Corrective Esthetics Certificate, which focused more on the medical aesthetics side of the industry, and I knew that Illinois required more hours for licensure than the state of WI, so becoming dual-licensed wouldn’t be a problem.
Although I loved the beauty industry for as long as I can remember, I actually didn’t start my career in aesthetics right away. I wanted to become an aesthetician but was afraid it wouldn’t be a career I could support myself in. However, with the growth of medical aesthetics and the increased awareness of the importance of skincare, I decided to ultimately follow my passion, and I truly feel like I’ve found my calling! Before aesthetics, I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and a Master’s Degree in Communications from Northwestern University.
Since working in aesthetics, I’ve become certified with several major medical aesthetics brands, and some of my training/certifications include:

I am also a licensed Skin Masterclass®Pro Partner, which is a certified on going education in skincare ingredients and product formulations taught by chemical engineer and skincare formulator, Cigdem Kmal Yilmaz.
Ultimately, I love to use my passion for learning to help clients find the best resources that make them look and feel their best.
Q: Which Services do You Specialize in at SKN BAR Rx?
At SKN BAR RX Pewaukee, I offer various services such as chemical peels, all facials (including HydraFacial MD) Clear and Brilliant, SkinPen, Laser Hair Removal, BBL, and Halo.
Q: what are some common concerns you address with clients?
A common concern I often hear from clients is that they don’t understand what skincare products they should use or what services make sense for them and their goals. With all the skincare information available online, it seems like many clients feel overwhelmed and want a professional who can help them break things down.
I love to consult with my clients on the products they’re using, help them understand what tweaks they should make, if any, and suggest services based on their concerns on goals. Regardless of someone’s budget or timeline, I typically find that there are always little improvements that could be made that truly make a noticeable difference both immediately and long term! I love being a resource to clients, and I always try to keep learning, so I can make sure I’m always helping them find the best of the best.
Q: what is your personal favorite service and why?
That’s tough. If I’m looking for an instant glow or a boost in hydration, I’d go with a HydraFacial Deluxe! If I want to do something more aggressive, I love Microneedling, BBL laser facial, or HALO Laser Resurfacing.
Q: what is the most fulfilling part as a service provider?
I love connecting with clients, answering their questions, and helping them feel more confident in their journey to better skin. I also love learning from clients and have received a lot of great tips over the years that I’m truly grateful for!
Q: TELL US SOME FUN FACTS ABOUT YOU!
Favorite food? My all-time favorite food would have to be taco dip. While I try to eat healthy for the most part, taco dip is my go-to favorite treat. Pro Tip: Eat taco dip with Doritos instead of Tositos; it’s a game-changer!
Any pets or kids? My husband and I have two horses, a thoroughbred named Romeo and a quarter-horse named Jake. We’re also planning on getting a puppy this year; stay tuned!
If you could travel anywhere right now where would it be? Ahh, there are so many places! My husband and I will be taking our honeymoon to Argentina this October (which was actually recommended to me by skincare clients). Other places I’m dying to explore are Indonesia, Thailand, Australia, and New Zealand.
What do you do in your downtime? In my downtime, I love to spend time with loved ones, especially my nephew, Mack, and my niece, Paige. I also love being outdoors, working out, spending time with animals, reading, and practicing self-care.
If you were stranded on an island and could only bring one skincare product with you what would it be? I would definitely take sunscreen to fight all those harmful UV rays. My go-to would probably be SkinBetter Science’s sunbetter Tone Smart SPF 75 Sunscreen.
